I had a lovely weekend up north visiting family. I spent a lot of time with the furry friends and also time with the family who I haven't seen for almost two months! Phew, that time flew quickly and it will be Christmas time before we know it.

Mid-week Instagram!

I have spent the last two days in North Sydney....working really sucks when you have a slight case of the sniffles. Luckily I also had a day off today so I can rest a bit more and try and get rid of it. I am on the tail-end and all I have now is watery eyes which is my least favourite part.

In other news, I really need to get my finger out and do some more sewing. I feel like I haven't done much creative stuff in the last few weeks. But first I need to get my house organised and my sewing room clean so I actually have a space to sew on. Now that the days are longer, and my house is less cold at night time I might actually start to sew after work.

Weekend in Instagram

This weekend I:

-Had ice cream dates at the beach,
-Got to sit on my new lounge a lot,
-Watched pretty sunsets after work,
-Enjoyed 'camping' in the lounge room as my new bed wasn't finished,
-Had a lot of tea to try and stop my sniffles,

Weekend in Instagram

My weekends are starting to fall into a bit of a pattern, errands on Saturday morning, watching soccer on Saturday afternoon and hanging out with friends at night. Sunday is for sleeping in, maybe a walk, lunch with Matt's parents and catching up on missed sleep on Sunday night. Now that I have a bit of a routine, I am going to start working weekends and be all out of whack again! 

In other news, I love the number plate above! It or something similar would look very good on my car indeed.

In all honesty...

To be completely honest, I haven't touched my sewing machine in a little over...a month. It saddens me to say that, sewing is and was such a large part of my life not that long ago. I am still trying to figure out where it fits in in my present life as not much free time isn't very conductive to creative time. 

I spent my weekend just past with friends and loved ones, relaxing from a full on week and enjoying the weekend like most other people that work Monday to Friday. A part of me wished to spent some time sewing but two days really evaporates quickly when you try and cram so much into them. I think the main thing is that I still want to sew, right?
